This research aims to gather the necessary information in this area because Iran society is going to aging.<br /> <br /><strong>Data and Method</strong><strong>: </strong>This study employs a qualitative approach and thematic analysis method to examine violence against the elderly, and for this purpose, it has extracted and classified the relevant literature on the subject. In this regard, related keywords were searched in scientific information databases, and ultimately, 56 articles were selected for final analysis.<br /> <br /><strong>Findings:</strong> The findings of the research are categorized into four main themes, including "important facilitators," "types of violence," "lost voices" (neglecting the voices of victims), and "social consequences," ultimately resulting in a core category titled "shadows of forgetfulness." Shadows are the apparent symbols of the elderly that do not seem to show any signs of pain and suffering. Forgetfulness is a sign of society's neglect of the needs and rights of the elderly.<br /> <br /><strong>Conclusion:</strong><strong> </strong>Violence against the elderly is a complex social issue, but it seems to stem from neglecting the needs and rights of this vulnerable group. Therefore, greater societal attention is needed, along with effective measures to prevent violence against the elderly.<br /> <br /><strong>Key Message: </strong>Ignoring the voices of victims leads to collective amnesia and the neglect of the rights of the elderly, indicating a need to reconsider social approaches.<strong> </strong> <strong>زمینه و هدف:</strong> شواهد جمعیتی حکایت از حرکت و گذار جوامع به سوی سالمندی دارد و با افزایش جمعیت آنها، خشونت علیه سالمندان به‌عنوان یک معضل اجتماعی پیچیده نیازمند توجه، اقدام مؤثر جهت پیشگیری و یافتن راهکار برای مقابله با خشونت است. درحالی‌که جامعه ایرانی نیز به سوی افزایش تعداد سالمندان می‌رود، هدف پژوهش حاضر گردآوری اطلاعات برای تبیین علل، و یافتن راه‌حل‌های مورد نیاز در این زمینه است.<br /> <br /><strong>روش و داده</strong><strong>‌</strong><strong>ها</strong><strong>:</strong> این مطالعه با رویکرد کیفی و روش تحلیل مضمون به بررسی خشونت علیه سالمندان پرداخته و به این منظور به استخراج و طبقه‌بندی ادبیات مرتبط با موضوع پرداخته است. در این راستا، کلیدواژه‌های مرتبط در بانک‌های اطلاعات علمی جستجو و در نهایت ۵۶ مقاله برای تحلیل نهایی انتخاب شدند.<br /> <br /><strong>یافته</strong><strong>‌</strong><strong>ها:</strong> یافته‌های پژوهش در چهار مقوله اصلی شامل "بسترساز‌های مهم، "گونه‌های خشونت"، "صداهای گم‌شده" (نادیده‌انگاری صدای قربانیان) و "پیامدهای اجتماعی" دسته‌بندی و در نهایت منتج به یک مقوله هسته با عنوان "سایه‌های فراموشی" تجمیع شده‌اند. مفهوم سایه‌ نماد سالمندانی است که گرچه واقعیت آن‌ها مملو از چالش‌های بی‌شمار است اما نشانه‌ای از درد و رنج آشکار در آن‌ها مشاهده نمی‌شود و فراموشی، نماد بی‌توجهی جامعه به نیازها و چالش‌های سالمندان است. ترکیب این دو واژه برای نشان دادن چالش‌های پنهان سالمندان به‌کار رفته‌ است.<br /> <br /><strong>بحث و نتیجه</strong><strong>‌</strong><strong>گیری:</strong><strong> </strong>خشونت علیه سالمندان یک معضل اجتماعی پیچیده است. به نظر می‌رسد بخشی از پیچیدگی این مسأله، ناشی از نادیده‌انگاری نیازها و حقوق این قشر آسیب‌پذیر است. با این اوصاف، توجه بیشتر جامعه از جمله اقدامات مؤثر برای پیشگیری از خشونت علیه سالمندان است.<br />سالمندی جمعیت اجتناب‌ناپذیر است و<strong> </strong>نادیده گرفتن صدای آسیب‌دیدگان منجر به فراموشی جمعی و تضییع حقوق سالمندان می‌شود. این مهم نیاز به بازنگری در رویکردهای اجتماعی در قبال سالمندان را منعکس می‌کند.  https://jscc.yazd.ac.ir/article_4040_6e9e1bde30c89633552ec0250ca11d69.pdf
